Harvest festival fell on 4 October, the Feast of St Francis and the final Sunday of the Season of Creation (Creationtide). My sermon focussed on the parable of the wicked tenants (Matthew 21: 33-46) and how they did not take their chance for redemption – for renewal of their relationship with God the creator.
