The clocks have now changed and we dare to hope that Spring is on the way.
Our Holy week reflections will be led this week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings by Preb Chris Marshall, who was Rector at St Andrew’s church Wiveliscombe. Do come and listen to his words in preparation for Good Friday and Easter Day. The talks start at 7.00pm.
On Maundy Thursday evening there will be a communion service followed by the stripping of the altar and quiet time to reflect. If you do not already have an Easter leaflet, do pick one up from the back of the church and details of all the services can be found there.
The Revd Stephen Mares is the preacher on Good Friday morning and after the service we shall be joining with our friends from St James’ to walk in a procession of witness to the Market House in the centre of town. The reflections on the last hour on the cross on Good Friday afternoon will be led by Revd Martin Wratten.
Easter is such a joyful time, made all the better by joining in the pain and suffering in Holy Week. May this Holy Week and Easter be a blessed time for you all.
