General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – As a Church, we obtain and process a variety of personal information. Due to a change in regulation, the way we now obtain and store this information is changing.  On 25th May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into force and will mean a few changes to the way we obtain, store and delete personal data. To ensure we comply, all those handling personal information will be contacted this week and will be asked to answer a small number of questions. This will help us to understand the landscape of our personal information and will help identify any actions we need to take to ensure compliance with the forthcoming Regulation.  If you receive an email asking such questions, please respond by the required deadline. An earlier response will help us move more quickly with this work. Thank you.
