We are now in the final count-down to Lent. This is your last chance for fun and frolics before self-imposed austerity takes over after this coming Wednesday (“Ash Wednesday”). Next week we shall deliberate upon his Temptations in the wilderness. In both of these extreme experiences Jesus was faithful and positive. Let us follow his example in all the vicissitudes of life this coming week. We will be in good company: his company.
